Last week, I successfully got H1 extension stamping at Toronto canada.
I entered canada at Niagara falls and they did not take my existing I-94s. Paid $100 for Bank receipt and had interview on Wednesday. VO asked only couple of questions regarding my work and gave me visa.
Only problem was they generally give passports on the next day. But for many people who attended on wednesday, they returned passports on Friday..that is after two days. It hurt my pocket well enough for last minute flight changes etc.
While entering USA, they did not issue a new I-94, rather they said my existing ones are good enough.
Though I wend one day before the interview for taking the bank receipt...generally it takes only couple of minutes to take that bank receipt. And there are many banks in downtown near consulate.
My education is completely in India and have experience in both India and USA.
