Here is my Ottawa experience

I came to US on L1 visa,did change of status to H1 in Oct 2006.I resigned from L1 company on Oct27 and took up the H1 company job on 30 October.I am a BE graduate from India and this was my first H1 stamping.
Ottawa Experience

My interview was on 20 September.Visa officer asked me only 2 questions.
VO : Why did you leave your L1 company?Were they not paying you competitively?
Me : They were paying me competitively, the reason for leaving the company was due to some career aspirations.
V.O : Who is the client.
Me:xyz company.
V.O : I am giving you visa, you can come and collect your passport tomorrow at 3 PM.
I carried all the documents but VO didn't ask for any docs.I just submitted DS156,157,h1 petition,passport,Scotia bank receipt thats it. I got the passport at 3 PM next day.If you go by flight, you will get a new I-94 from Ottawa airport.
