But they are not doing this for everyone.
But ~90% or more are asked to come after 4 days. And every one is given visa. Today at 3.00 p.m everyone got visa, none was rejected. No need to worry, only thing is plan to stay for 4 working days. All these days I was asking people whom I met about their case. All the cases I met are US degree holders or doing residency in US(medicine) or Pharmacy(they do write some qualifying exam here). I did not meet any one who did not study in US, so no idea of what is going on with them. The lady before me was asked to come the next day only to collect her H1B, but I did not ask whether she has US advanced degree or not?
I talked to few people to know the pattern, who are waiting here in Ottawa for 4 working days and they include IT, Pharmacy fields, and MBBS doctor.
Some are first time H1 stamping, and some are 2nd\3rd time. Surprising thing is those who were previously stamped(twice) at Ottawa are also waiting.
So I felt it's all random. One guy was telling there is some pattern according to which they are selecting for back check with USCIS which he also does not know.
DO not worry about Scotia bank receipts. Bank opens at 9.00. I got in 2 min. Parked car in front of bank(coin parking) or can walk from consulate. It was snowing, so I went by car.
You can enter in to Consulate any time before 11.00 a.m. irrespective of interview time. This was told by security man at the gate. I asked him and then went to bank. I went 45 min late.
