I have collected the H1 B visa experiences published in this blog by searching various websites and by spending lot of time. Since I didn’t find some of their mail id’s there I couldn’t take permission from all the people whose H1b visa experiences I have posted here in this blog. Anyhow because their intention was also to share their experience with others so i had posted without their permission, but i took acceptance from few of them. I thought of posting both success and failure experiences of H1B visa stamping. If you would like to share your experience too, please send it to satyadon@gmail.com.

Successful H1-B stamping at Matamoros, MX

Hey Guys,
I just had a successful H1-B visa stamping from Matamoros, MX. My case if F1 to H1. I used the MAS and its one of the best and quick services of the available ones.

We were dropped at the US Consulate at about 8AM and I entered back to the USA by about 12PM.

The visa interview was fairly simple:
1) Which Company?
2) What does the company do?
3) What do you in that Company?
4) Do you have an OPT card? (I said yes and getting ready to show it to him and the VO didnt even bother to check that.)

Visa was stamped and given in about 15 min after the interview.

The immigration however took a little bit more...Made us sit for a while. But they only checked my address and verified my I-797 and employment verification. Thats it!! Back to Good ol' TX :)

Docs:
------
DS 156, 157
Confirmation mail
Passport(s)
I-797
I-129
Pay stubs
W-2
Tax returns
Original education docs
Employer verification letter
Job offer letter
I-20(s) (if necessary)
OPT (if necessary)

Regards,
Vas
